Options

TrueFire - Random flickering from 30% to 50% throttle to simulate the afterburner lighting/turning on. From 50% throttle to 100% throttle the afterburner gets brighter with full brightness at 100% throttle. 

BlueFire - Random blue led ring flickering from 30% throttle to 50% throttle. Center afterburner led is not on during this portion. From 50% throttle to 100% throttle the center afterburner led gets brighter with full brightness at 100% throttle. The blue led ring is on at a lower intensity during this portion. 

Select-A-Fire - adjust the throttle position where the main Orange LED turns on. For BlueFire units the throttle position where the Blue LED starts to flicker is adjustable. The ability to turn on and off the flickering effect is also provided. Available for TrueFire and BlueFire units. 

LED afterburner with flickering effect on startup and increased brightness during the throttle sweep. Afterburner comes on at 30% throttle. No additional radio (TX) programming is required to achieve the realistic afterburner effect. This is a plug and play system. 

Includes a 3D printed motor mount, 20" extension wiring from controller to LED, connection to a 6S battery balance port and receiver. We can offer a 4S version if desired. Just let us know. 

An integrated Y cable is provided with the controller to split the throttle signal from the receiver (RX) and provide it to the afterburner controller and the ESC. 

The controller itself weighs 18g.

The dimension listed is for the outside diameter of the motor. The unit can be attached to the motor using a zip tie, Gorilla tape or FoamTac glue. See photos for more information. 

Installation instructions:

1) Remove the motor per the manual instructions. 

2) Attach the afterburner LED unit to the rear of the motor using FoamTac Glue. Tighten zip tie and add Gorilla tape if desired. Leave the FoamTac to set for 24 hours and then you can remove the zip tie if desired.  

3) Route the LED wire to the battery compartment.

4) Connect the LED wire to the TrueFire LED controller.

5) Connect the ESC lead to the Y splitter. One end goes to the receiver throttle port and one to the TrueFire LED controller Throttle connection. 

6) Connect the TrueFire LED controller Battery connector to the balance lead of the battery. 

7) Power on the plane and the transmitter. Make sure your plane is secure prior to adding throttle input. Give it throttle and enjoy the TrueFire! It gets really good around 30% throttle input.

Before I purchase anything, I like to reach out to the seller first and find out more about the warranty. Elisa responded very quickly and explained the warranty to me. She also told me how to register my frother once I received it. My frother was delivered in the evening so I used it the following day. I didn't need to charge it because it already had a charge. It was easy to use and frothed my 2% milk and my flavored creamer perfectly. I am very happy with it, so far. To sum it up: 1) Elisa was responsive and genuinely seemed to care about her customers, which gave me confidence in making this purchase. 2) Frother works great with milk and milk products. 3) I'm glad I won't have to be replacing batteries. All I have to do is plug it in and I'll be good to go. Plus, the charging cord comes with it. If you are having doubts let me reassure you, you won't be sorry if you purchase it. I really think you'll like it. Edit #1: I have had this frother for less than 6 months. This is the 2nd time I have had to charge it; pretty impressive, huh? Each charge lasted for about 2 months! Unfortunately, when I went to use it the following day it was completely dead. The charge did not hold and I was unable to use it. Beyond worth it!

Before this, I used battery powered frothers and couldn’t keep up with replacing the batteries. As soon as the batteries began to lose their charge, the frothers weren’t powerful enough. Somehow, this doesn’t begin to lose its charge until the charge runs out. I’ve spent a fraction of the price buying this as I did on batteries. I got this in Aug 2024. It’s amazing and incredibly powerful. In a year, I charged it 3 times. If you don’t get the froth you’re looking for, I’d suggest you watch a video on how to froth correctly. I learned there’s a proper technique that really improves the outcome. It made a world of difference for me. The charge time advertised is not correct. It lasts much much much longer on one charge. After the charge died, I charged it for maybe an hour and then I used it to whisk thick body butter. When washing it, I got it too wet. The motor wouldn’t stop running, so I called it a loss and put it outside to let it run until it stopped. It ran for hours. Sometime during the night it shut off. The next day, I pressed the on button again and it ran the entire day. It has a warranty, but I never registered mine, so I don’t mind paying for a replacement since it is so inexpensive. I’m writing this review now because I liked it so much that I just purchased another one to replace it. I hope this helps. If you’re unsure: It is incredibly powerful, but has two speeds, so one will work for any frothing needs. The price is unbeatable, much less than you’ll spend on batteries. The charge lasts unbelievably long and stays just as powerful until the charge runs out. It is detachable, so washing it is really simple. Just wipe the top part.

*I bumped my rating from 3 to 4 stars because of the customer service. The seller's response to customer reviews is excellent. This particular model (MF05) still gets 3 stars from me, but the new version (MF09) is definitely a 5 star product. See update below.* Second Update: I received the new version (FoodVille MF09), and really like it. It solves the variable speed problem. Three speeds are still available, however, each has its own on/off switch, so no more cycling through. It also comes with an additional hook attachment for mixing powders with liquid, as well as a charging stand. It is a few dollars more, but most definitely worth it! In addition to fixing the speed issue, they have included a charging dock. I've had this frother for a few months now. Overall, it works as well as my Aerolatte hand-held that died. I like that it is rechargeable, since I went through quite a lot of batteries before. My problem with this is the way you have to cycle through the speeds, rather than just selecting the one you want. This is a problem because sometimes I'll need to stop it before I'm finished and then when I resume it is on the next faster speed, which causes the milk to fly out of the glass before I can get back to the lower setting. I have ruined at least one shirt with stains from the flying milk. Also, because of where the on/off button is, and because of its sensitivity, I sometimes turn it off accidentally, which of course causes the milk to slosh everywhere getting back to the lower setting. I really wish you could just pick a speed, even if that means just a high and a low. I'm thinking of going back to a single speed frother. All but the lowest speed seems to be too strong to froth milk anyway. So, it works, it has good battery life, but cycling through the speeds has been a problem for me. I'll keep using it for now, but may be in the market for something different soon.
