It’s the classic monster comedy everyone loves—revived for a new generation with a star-studded cast in The Munsters Today. This updated continuation features John Schuck as the lovable Herman Munster, Lee Meriwether as the elegant Lily, Howard Morton as Grandpa Vladimir Dracula, Count of Transylvania, Jason Marsden as Eddie, and Hilary Van Dyke as Marilyn—Lily’s famously “plain” niece.

The story resumes 22 years after the original series. A mishap in Grandpa’s laboratory sends the Munster family into a deep sleep, only for them to awaken in the late 1980s, where they must hilariously adapt to a world of modern fashions, technology, and social norms—while remaining blissfully unaware of just how out of place they truly are.

Throughout its run, the series welcomed an impressive lineup of guest stars, including Kaye Ballard, Jonathan Brandis, Ruth Buzzi, Kathleen Freeman, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Pat Morita, Don Most, Marcia Wallace, Nanette Fabray, Nancy Dussault, Eddie Mekka, Lois Nettleton, Yetta, and many more.

Collector’s note: This set includes all 72 episodes from all three seasons of the series. It does not include the unaired 1988 pilot “Still Munsters After All These Years,” which established the premise referenced in the opening theme song.

This extremely rare and hard-to-find series has never been released at retail and was not recorded from television. Episodes are presented in HD quality with no logos, making this an essential addition for Munsters fans and classic TV collectors alike.

A must read for public executives
Format: Paperback
Concise, focused, and full of real-world point and counterpoints, I found this to be more of an essential piece of oratory combat equipment than a book. As a non-lawyer working in public service, this book provides excellent points on interpretation, form versus substance, and the importance of observation and evidence – all skills needed to protect the public interest. As someone who monitors contracts in the public sector, many of my peers could benefit from this book and better design contracts to the advantage of their public entity. Incidentally, I was also involved in a heated discussion about data interpretation the same week I was reading this book, and was able to calmly defend and dominate the discussion until my opponent acquiesced. More important than dominating your opponent is the theme throughout this book that one’s argument must be genuine, and the logic tight. Additionally, as Prof. Trachtman reminds readers that these skills, like a weapon, should only be used for good. A great read!

What our kids need to hear
Format: Hardcover
This book says exactly what our kids need to hear in these confusing times. There are so many things that our children hear and see these days that it can be overwhelming and confusing. This book and the sweet illustrations make teaching our kids how lucky we are to live in the US so very easy and important. This is something we need to make sure our children appreciate and they will grow up proud to protect our freedoms afforded to us by so many. Love this book!

Simply Wonderful
Format: Hardcover
I Love America is a wonderful book to help children (along with the rest of us!) recognize and appreciate the blessings bestowed upon us by God, including our freedoms in all their forms, our remarkable veterans, and those that work so hard to make our nation what it is. The fun rhyming and adorable illustrations kept our boys glued to it the whole time. Highly, highly recommended.
