If you’ve got a fuller bust and high impact movement usually means bounce, strap digging or doubling up bras, the Shock Absorber Max Support Sports Bra is built to lock things down without underwire.

Is the Shock Absorber Max Support Sports Bra right for me?

Quick answer: Yes, if you’ve got a fuller bust and need a firm, wirefree sports bra for high-impact movement. The Shock Absorber Max Support is best for D-H cups, running, gym training, horse riding and anyone who wants serious bounce control without underwire. It has a snug compression fit, so it feels more locked-down than soft and stretchy.

  • The Shock Absorber Max Support Bra provides extreme support and full coverage
  • The slight padding in the straps offers comfort, whilst the underband enables breathability during workouts
  • Made from moisture wicking, breathable, high performance fabrics
  • Made for D-H cups
  • Wirefree
  • Non-padded cups
  • Support Factor Rating: High
  • Branding: Collab with Champion so most of the bras have both Champion & Shock Absorber branding

"Perfect fit and very comfortable with minimal bounce - what more could a girl want?"

The bestselling Shock Absorber Active D+ Max Support Sports Bra provides a solid and secure fit for full bust women up to a H-cup.

"This sports bra has been great on my runs so far, I have a small band and large chest and this is the only one I've found that has supported me."

Why fuller-bust women choose the Shock Absorber Max Support Bra

  • It is a classic design with a rounded silhouette and wide, padded, adjustable non-slip straps.
  • The moulded cups lift and encapsulate the bust to recenter and support the breasts whilst the super soft microfiber inner panel anchors the bra to the body, reducing friction around the ribcage.
  • Wirefree
  • Bounce Control Tested For Extreme Support
  • 100 by OEKO-TEX® Certified Fabrics - tested for harmful substances and deemed safe from a human-ecological perspective.

Alisa's Fitting Tips

Here’s what to know before you order:

  1. Compression queen: This style suction-cups your boobs to your body — perfect if you’re used to double-bra-ing or love that really locked-down feel.

  2. Full coverage = full support: That high neckline helps reduce bounce up and out — so you stay secure during even the bounciest workouts.

  3. Straps that behave: Wide, comfy, and designed not to slip, thanks to the way they’re set in slightly on the back. These do not convert to racerback.

  4. Lightweight but firm: Breathable enough for all-day wear (hi, horse riders) but firm in the band, which means…

  5. Go up if you’re between sizes: The ribcage band runs a touch snug. If you’re between, say, a 14 and 16, I recommend sizing up.

  6. Strong side panels help reduce the feeling of underarm spill.

  7. If I don't have your size in the Shock Absorber, it's worth taking a look at the Active D+ by Parfait. I've written a comparison post about the differences between the Active D+ by Parfait and the Shock Absorber Max sports bras here.

Best for

  • Fuller busts in D-H cups needing firm high-impact support
  • Running, gym training, HIIT, horse riding and other bounce-heavy movement
  • Women who prefer a wirefree sports bra with a locked-down compression feel
  • Anyone who usually feels like they need to wear two bras to feel secure

Maybe not best for

  • You want a soft, relaxed everyday bra feel
  • You dislike firm compression around the ribcage
  • You want padded or moulded cups for nipple coverage (check out the Freya High-Octane sports bra for that)
  • You need a racerback-convertible sports bra (check out the Active D+ by Parfait for a Racerback option)

If you’re unsure, we’re always happy to help you find the best option.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5
