Krontec QR-03 Quick Release system is the pinnacle of steering wheel quick release technology, widely used by top motorsport teams worldwide. Engineered with precision, it features a spline-less design that prevents misalignment and wear, ensuring the steering wheel is always correctly positioned.

The mechanism includes a female component for the steering wheel and a male component for the steering column. When actuated, two steel rods disengage smoothly, locking into grooves on the male side. This ensures a secure, zero-play connection that endures rigorous racing use. The sophisticated design and tight tolerances enable seamless, one-handed removal with zero play, maintaining a secure lock even after years of use.

Preferred by GT and Touring car manufacturers worldwide, the Krontec QR-03 Quick Release (P/N 997.347.285.91) was used in the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup 2013 (Type 991), highlighting its reliability and effectiveness in high-performance vehicles.

Krontec QR-03 Quick Release is coated in gold anodisation to comply with FIA standards, further attesting to its superior quality and performance.
