Installation
SandGrips are manufactured with high precision—specifically with a manufacturing tolerance of only 0.05 mm. Therefore, installation is possible in just minutes.
1. Make sure your weapon is unloaded before installation! Remove the magazine from the magazine well and check the chamber before working on your weapon. Always follow general safety rules when handling weapons!
2. Start by cleaning the areas of your weapon that will be covered by the SandGrips. Use a cleaner that won’t damage your weapon’s surface. To ensure optimal adhesion, the surface must be completely free of grease.
3. Before removing the transfer film, place the SandGrips on the designated adhesive points and check for proper fit. Once you’re satisfied with the positioning, remove the transfer film and begin applying.
4. Heat one of the SandGrips until soft and flexible. A hair dryer, for example, is suitable for this. Avoid touching the adhesive surface. Once the SandGrip is soft, place it in the desired position and press down firmly to eliminate air bubbles.
5. Repeat the heating and pressing until you’re satisfied with the fit. Don’t worry—you can remove them later without leaving any residue! Congratulations, your weapon now has a bombproof grip in your hand!
