Deze prestigieuze Barolo uit Piemonte, Italië wordt gemaakt van 100% Nebbiolo-druiven, afkomstig van de gerenommeerde wijngaarden van Beni di Batasiolo. Deze rode wijn rijpt 24 maanden op Franse eikenhouten vaten en krijgt daarna nog 12 maanden flesrijping om zijn complexe karakter verder te ontwikkelen. Dit proces zorgt voor een diepe, verfijnde wijn met een indrukwekkende balans tussen kracht en elegantie.

De Batasiolo Barolo heeft een intense geur van zwarte kersen, pruimen, chocolade, drop en tabak, aangevuld met subtiele aardse tonen. In de mond is hij vol en gelaagd, met verfijnde zuren en zachte, rijpe tannines die de wijn een lange, harmonieuze afdronk geven. Deze krachtige wijn combineert uitstekend met wildgerechten, truffelpasta, ossobuco en gerijpte kazen.

Wijnhuis Beni di Batasiolo
Beni di Batasiolo is een familiebedrijf dat sinds 1978 toonaangevend is in de Langhe-regio. Oorspronkelijk opgericht door de gebroeders Dogliani, beslaat het wijnhuis nu 264 hectare, waarvan 150 hectare met Nebbiolo beplant is – de druif die Barolo zijn reputatie als ‘de koning der wijnen’ geeft. Hun filosofie combineert traditionele methoden met moderne technieken, wat resulteert in wijnen die wereldwijd geliefd zijn.
