I purchased a size Large and it's just a smidge loose but it's nothing that is really noticeable or uncomfy. I'm about 180lbs at 5'9 with somewhat of a beer belly but not a huge one lol. If you're body is about the same as mine and if you want a more fitted feel them go with a medium. I use it for work (nothing heavy white collar work) and during the warm seasons I absolutely loath regular cotton style shirts. I'm not a fan of the summer weather so I tend to buy clothing that is more suitable for warm temps. This is 100% polyester and it's breathable as heck. That's what I like most about it. The overall texture and feel is somewhat "rough" but soft at the same time (if that makes any sense) but it's nothing that you'll be self conscious about. So don't let that scare you away. It's comfy and inexpensive and I recommend.
