Door de fontein (Aan de hand van de fontein als metafoor voor het familiesysteem) leer je wat jouw eigen, unieke plek is. Op die plek ontvang je de stroming die essentieel is voor hoe je leven verloopt. Veel mensen staan onbewust niet op de juiste plek, waardoor ze op allerlei vlakken problemen kunnen ervaren. Dit boek geeft je praktische tips waardoor je stevig op jouw plek kunt staan.
Je bent als mens veel meer verbonden met je familiesysteem dan je kunt bevroeden; de onlosmakelijke verbinding met al je familieleden. Net als de natuur kent dat systeem onzichtbare wetmatigheden en principes waarvan je je vaak niet bewust bent, maar die grote invloed op je leven uitoefenen. Het patroon dat je in de familiefontein laat zien, herhaalt zich bijna altijd op andere vlakken in je leven, zowel in je relatie of eigen gezin als in je verdere privé - en werkleven.
De theorie van de fontein legt in heldere taal uit wat jouw plek is. Vaak sta je niet op je eigen plek. Hoe herken je dat en welke consequenties horen daarbij? Voel je je snel schuldig, neem je structureel te veel verantwoordelijkheid op je en geef je meer dan je ontvangt? Heb je moeizame relaties, ben je erg kritisch op jezelf en anderen, heb je bewijsdrang of zie je dat je kinderen je patronen ook al overnemen? Met behulp van dit boek ben je zelf in staat om een mogelijke diagnose te stellen waarom bepaalde zaken in je leven niet zo lopen zoals je zou willen. Vervolgens wordt op praktische wijze toegelicht hoe je op jouw plek in de fontein komt en welke stappen je daartoe kunt nemen.
Als je leert om op de juiste plek te staan in de fontein, vind je rust en laat je het jezelf goed gaan. Je laat los wat van de ander is en ziet onder ogen wat van jou is. Hiermee stel je grenzen, blijf je in verbinding en neem je verantwoordelijkheid voor jouw leven. Je leert ja te zeggen tegen al het goede en het minder goede wat er is, waarbij je je eigen primaire gevoelens gaat ervaren. Je zult merken dat je toegang krijgt tot een positieve spiraal waardoor de relatie met jezelf en je omgeving verbetert.

Very comfortable Slippers. Great buy!

I bought these to replace a pair of slippers that I have had for years that are very similar to the slippers I bought, but I had worn a hole in the leather on mine, so I had to find something new and similar. These slippers are worth the money they are very comfortable, and I am sure they will last for years. They are a little tight around the ankle cuff but they are still new and I am sure they will wear in a little more when I start wearing them more.

Great slippers but disappointing quality.

Extremely comfortable, attractive slippers but the stitching came loose on both leather trim areas almost immediately. I tried to sew/glue down the stitching (as seen in photo) but it kept unraveling. Disappointing as these slippers are great in every other way (though they do run a bit big...I wear a 9 but ended up with a 7.5-8.5 which fits with a bit of room to spare even with thick socks). I just hope they hold up after my latest attempt to stop the thread from pulling out any more as I do really love wearing them.
Perhaps I just got a bum pair?

Tight at first, but they stretch after a short time...feel perfect after the first week!

I love them!
My first impression was "oooh, this is too tight". I wear a size 10 shoe and honestly, the 9.5-10.5 felt tight when I first tried it. Without socks it felt okay, with socks my toes were right at the top. But I loved the style so much I decided to give it a chance - I am SO glad I did!!!
They do stretch and give, so don't expect it to be tight forever. I have had them a week or so, wearing each day (I WFH) and they feel really nice. I also live in the mountains, we just had our first winter storm, and these slippers are nice and toasty. Exactly what I needed.
The memory foam is plush, though I have had other slippers with it and I know it will squash down over time. Right now, it is a nice feeling as I walk around the house. They are super cute looking, wearing leggings allows me to feel like I am stylish even while still wearing my sleep thermals. YAY!

favorite slipper ever

I love these slippers. They look great with pants tucked in. Incredibly warm and comfortable. I wear them almost every day. Fit is true to size. They stay up but are not tight at all. On top of that I get compliments on them. Highly recommend.

Favorite Slippers Of All Time
Size: 6.5-7.5, Color: Charcoal Faux Fur
ETA 7/2024: So I ended up buying a size 5-6. They fit better around the top and sides of my foot but the sole is a bit small. The 6.5-7.5 sole fits better but the material around the top and sides is roomy so it bunches up. Sigh. I still love these slippers but the fit is frustrating.
I'm obsessed with these slipper boots! They are so cute and comfy.
They look especially good with leggings but I also like that I can tuck other types of pajama pants into them. I'm short and have to fold the waist of most pajama pants so they're not super long on me, but with these boot slippers on I don't have to worry about my pant bottoms dragging on the floor since I can just tuck them in.
I like that they have rubber soles. I love the look of the faux fur but not sure how easy they will be to wash because of it.
I wear a 7 or 7.5 and I got the 6.5-7.5 size. Even with thick socks on they are roomy. Because they are house shoes it doesn't matter much but I probably could've sized down.
I like the way they look so much I might buy a size down and use that pair for wearing outside of my house.
Some other reviews said they have a strong smell but mine did not.
