Furnace is een engine-building eurogame waarin de spelers de rol op zich nemen van 19de-eeuwse kapitalisten die hun industriële bedrijven opbouwen en zoveel mogelijk geld willen verdienen door bedrijven te kopen, grondstoffen te winnen, en die in de best mogelijke combinaties te verwerken.Elke speler begint het spel met een willekeurige startkaart, de grondstoffen die op de bovenkant van die kaart staan afgebeeld, en vier gekleurde schijven met waarde 1-4.
Het spel wordt gespeeld over vier ronden, en elke ronde bestaat uit twee fasen: Veiling en Productie. Tijdens de veiling worden 6-8 bedrijfskaarten neergelegd met de basiszijden naar boven. Om beurten plaatsen de spelers een van hun schijven op een van deze kaarten, maar je kunt geen schijf op een kaart plaatsen als er al een schijf van dezelfde waarde of kleur aanwezig is. Zo plaats je schijven op vier kaarten.
Als alle schijven geplaatst zijn, worden de kaarten van links naar rechts opgelost. Wie de schijf met de hoogste waarde plaatste, claimt deze kaart, maar eerst krijgt iedereen met een schijf met een lagere waarde op deze kaart compensatie, ofwel de afgebeelde grondstoffen vermenigvuldigd met de waarde van zijn schijf, ofwel een verwerkingsmogelijkheid (ruil X voor Y) tot zoveel keer als de waarde van zijn schijf.
Als alle kaarten zijn opgeëist of afgelegd, gaan de spelers de productiefase in, waarbij ze hun kaarten in de volgorde van hun keuze gebruiken. Elke bedrijfskaart heeft één actie - hetzij productie, hetzij verwerking - op de basiszijde en twee acties op de opgewaardeerde zijde. Tijdens de productiefase kun je elk van je kaarten een keer gebruiken om grondstoffen te verwerven, die grondstoffen te verwerken tot andere grondstoffen of geld, en je kaarten op te waarderen.
Aan het eind van vier ronden wint degene die het meeste geld heeft.
Furnace bevat ook kapitalistenkaarten die unieke effecten bevatten, en als je wilt kun je ervoor kiezen er bij het begin van het spel aan elke speler een uit te delen. Voor een extra uitdaging kun je de spelers verplichten een "productieketen" te maken, waarbij elke nieuw verworven bedrijfskaart ergens in die keten wordt geplaatst en voor de rest van het spel op zijn plaats wordt vastgezet.

Genuinely bummed that these great balls can’t stand up against my Chloè.

I love all the Chuckit brand of balls. I found that the Strabo and glow balls in the Chuckit line are the softest, and as such, don't last as long as the rest of Chuckit line of balls. Having said that, they do last longer than than every other brand I've tried (and I do believe I’ve tried every brand available on the market today.)
The strato balls do bounce higher than any of the other balls in the Chuckit line. They really are a good value.

Great dog balls at a great price
Size: Medium
The balls are a favorite for my dog. I could have done without the hole through the middle because I don't do treats in balls anyway. My dog loves balls for their own merit. I needed replacement balls for my Nerf Dog Ball launcher. It seems the originals have disappeared from the market. I took a chance because the price is right and this Chuck-it ball works very well so we're liking this ball a lot. So far my Dachsund, who can destroy a tennis ball (the kind they are selling as Nerf Dog replacements) in 3 minutes has not done any damage to this one so that's a win. I recommend this as a much better ball than the fuzzy tennis balls. I like the colors too since many dog toys are green (which gets lost in the lawn, etc.) or red (even though dogs have red/green color blindness. Blue and orange are good and pretty easy to find. I liked these well enough that this set was my second purchase so I will have spares in case the others are lost.

My Baby loves his new baby!

Finally! A ball my 107 lb. pitty/pointer mix can’t destroy. He has torn up every single “indestructible” toy in a day or so until now. He peels fabric and fur off non-rubber toys. He is a 4-legged shredder. I’ve added pictures of him for a size reference of my dog versus this product. I know I had wanted that when shopping for this item.
This ball is now his beloved “baby.” He goes absolutely insane looking for it, chewing it, chasing it, and even sleeping with it. He won’t rest unless he knows exactly where it is. It is his only toy, and he is good with that. After getting this home, I tried giving him other choices, but he won’t touch them.
I was worried that he would rip it apart by putting his teeth in the holes, but so far, not a scratch. It is soft enough to collapse just enough to keep it from cracking when his jaws crush it but not so soft that he can rip it to sheds. The holes are large enough to prevent a suction or vacuum effect on his tongue or mouth. For his size jaws, it is a perfect fit. Other dogs might have problems with suction or be able to get their teeth in those holes and rip it apart. Who knows?
The older version of the Chuckit squeaky ball was his favorite for the year and a half he had it, but the way they make them now, he peels off the orange triangle in hours flat, the squeaker falls out (choking hazard), and then he rips it apart.
I’m going to stock up on these. I can’t imagine how crazy he will be if they ever stop production or change the materials.

Best flip-flops I've met
Size: 11, Color: Black/Geyser
Right away I was impressed by the thichness and cushioning of these flip-flops. They are not a flimsy piece of rubber under my foot. The sole is more like that of an athletic shoe with layers and an impressive tread.
I've always found that my heel sits too much on the back edge of flip-flops, or even over it. So I ordered these just a half size large and they're perfect. The foot cradling allows my heel to sit down inside the flip-flop comfortably and securely. They're not about to fall off. The toe piece (I don't know what it's actually called) is not just the typical round rubber post. On these flip-flops it's nicely shaped and fits comfortably between my toes.
The arch support is nice too. They're not just flat.
In spite of being more substantial than the cheapies we all know, these remain lightweight. They clearly look better too
