De bacteriën zijn dodelijk voor de larven. De larven verkleuren lichtgeel en sterven binnen 2 dagen af. De nematoden vermenigvuldigen zich in de dode larve waardoor een nieuwe generatie nematoden ontwikkelt die op zoek gaat naar nieuwe prooien. De bodemtemperatuur van de grond (potgrond) moet minimum 10°C bedragen en voldoende vochtig zijn. Niet in volle zon toepassen. Voor een behandeling van 5 à 10 m2 grondoppervlakte of 500 l potgrond/compost. Het product kan minimum 1 week bewaard worden op 5°C, te gebruiken voor de vervaldatum.

Om ervoor te zorgen dat de nuttige insecten veilig en in goede conditie aankomen, worden ze altijd in een apart pakje verzonden. Het kan dus zijn dat je bestelling in meerdere delen wordt geleverd.
