In de Spaanse Sierra de las Nieves (Andalusië) zijn de olijfgaarden van Gil Luna te vinden. Een familiebedrijf dat nog geheel zelfstandig is en de grootst mogelijke moeite doet om dat te blijven. Ondanks het feit dat de olijfolie van boeren zoals Cristóbal Luna van uitzonderlijke kwaliteit is, is het voor dit familiebedrijf nog niet zo eenvoudig om het bij u op tafel te krijgen. Het ontbreekt de boer vaak aan tijd en de juiste contacten om u te bereiken. Dit is precies de reden waar Olivarera een schakel wil zijn tussen deze ecologische landbouwers en de fijnproevers in Nederland. Elke verkochte liter is er eentje en als de olijfboer zich vol kan concentreren op zijn boomgaard, de pluk, de oogst en het persen, doet Olivarera graag de rest.
