De broek voldoet aan de EN 381-5 klasse 1 (20 m/s) normering, wat betekent dat hij bescherming geeft tegen sneden door kettingzagen tot 20 meter per seconde.

De BasePro is gemaakt van 65% polyester en 35% katoen (210 g/m²), een sterke maar ademende stof die bestand is tegen intensief gebruik. Dankzij het lichte gewicht blijft de broek comfortabel, zelfs tijdens lange werkdagen. De zes frontale beschermingslagen zorgen voor maximale veiligheid zonder het draagcomfort te beperken. Daarnaast is de broek voorzien van versterkte kniestukken en meerdere praktische zakken voor gereedschap of persoonlijke spullen.
