Overal waar gas gebruikt wordt bestaat een kans op een gaslek waardoor gevaarlijke situaties kunnen ontstaan. Een ander gevaarlijk gas is koolmonoxide, dat vrijkomt bij een onvolledige verbranding, bijvoorbeeld bij gasfornuizen, gasovens, gashaarden, cv-ketels of boilers. Al deze gassen zijn levensgevaarlijk en daardoor is het belangrijk om op tijd gewaarschuwd te worden bij een te hoge concentratie.Een handige 2-in-1 melder
De Smartwares RM337 Combimelder beschikt over een duidelijk alarm van 85 dB en zal afgaan wanneer koolmonoxide, butaan, propaan of aardgas gedetecteerd wordt. De gasmelder wordt met de bijgeleverde adapter gevoed door netstroom en zorgt daardoor voor 24 uur bescherming. Daarnaast is de combimelder uitgerust met een pauzestand, zodat het alarm tijdelijk uitgeschakeld kan worden als er bijvoorbeeld sprake is van vals alarm.LED indicatoren
De melder maakt gebruik van LED indicatoren om aan te geven wat voor gevaar er gemeten is. De groene LED bij power brandt altijd als de melder aangesloten is op het stroomnet, zo weet je altijd of de melder actief is. Als een gevaarlijke concentratie gas gedetecteerd wordt zal één van de rode LEDs branden en het betreffende gevaar aanduiden, CO of GAS. Op deze manier weet je precies wat er aan de hand is en kun je snel maatregelen treffen.Installatie
De combimelder kan eenvoudig opgehangen worden met enkele schroeven. De melder moet tenminste 1,5 meter boven de vloer en op tenminste 1,85 meter van verbrandingsapparaten opgehangen worden om optimaal te functioneren. Je kunt de melder dus ophangen bijvoorbeeld bij de cv-ketel, openhaarden of in de keuken.Testen de melder regelmatig
Test na het installeren van de combimelder of hij goed functioneert door de testknop aan de voorkant in te drukken. Het alarm zal afgaan en de rode LED lampjes bij CO en GAS zullen knipperen. Om er zeker van te zijn dat de combimelder altijd goed functioneert wordt aangeraden om maandelijks gebruik te maken van de testknop.Onderhoud
De werking van een combimelder kan verminderd worden door stof en vuil. Het is daarom belangrijk om je melder maandelijks schoon te maken met een licht vochtige doek en halfjaarlijks met een stofzuiger. Gebruik echter nooit schoonmaakproducten en beschilder de melder niet.Inhoud van de verpakking:

Student Review
This book is an excellent introduction to the basic principles of insurance. We used this text as a supplement in our Intro to Act. Sci. class. It is very readable, easy to understand. Minimal mathematics required, some basic calculus concepts used, but only briefly. Don't let it's small size fool ya, it has plenty of information in there.

The best book for any person who wants to understand how ...
Format: Paperback
The best book for any person who wants to understand how American Courts work! At times we all ask questions like "How can this criminal get off on technicalities if it is obvious that he/she committed crime?", or "How can this be fair?" or "How can a lawyer defend this "bad guy/girl"? This is totally wrong! He/she is a criminal!" The author explains the difference between law and common sense, law and ethics, understanding of crime in legal terms and in laymen words.The book closely examines the logical reasoning of the law professionals , demonstrating the "tricks" used in court rooms. Fascinating reading!!! WARNING: the book will not prepare you to go to court and defend your case! This is not a "how-to" manual for folks who are planning to go to court. Hire a lawyer if need be.
However, if you want to learn how to present and defend your point (any point, not just legal issues) as an intelligent and convincing person, this book is for you! Chances are, by the time you are done with debating your next case, your opponents will at least respect your opinion (or hate your guts, which still might give you some satisfaction).
This book is for anyone who wants to boost up their skills in logical persuasion, finding loopholes in opponent's logical reasoning.
Lots of interesting and valuable information for a pretty small price! It is written in a short and clear format: each chapter discusses specific idea, giving examples from court cases and average daily life (parent-child, husband-wife, employee-supervisor), concluding with a practical application summary argument vs. counterargument. So, no reason to read the entire book from beginning to end. One can just pick any chapter and read about how this or that legal (logical) rule can be applied in daily life.
