Training Autisme: wat je moet weten
Iemand met autisme staat in het dagelijks leven voor verschillende uitdagingen, maar ook als ouder of partner krijg je hiermee te maken. Op welke manier maak je bijvoorbeeld grote veranderingen behapbaar voor je kind? Hoe kunnen jij en je partner omgaan met verschillende behoeften binnen jullie relatie? En wat doe je als overprikkeling voor een ‘meltdown’ of ‘shutdown’ zorgt? In deze training geeft autisme-expert Els Blijd-Hoogewys je concrete adviezen om het dagelijks leven samen zo soepel mogelijk te laten verlopen en je naaste met autisme (nog) beter te begrijpen. Mét oog voor elkaars kwetsbaarheden en kwaliteiten, zónder de aandacht voor je eigen energiebalans te verliezen.

1. Check & update je kennis
2. Informatieverwerking: een kijkje in het brein
Ons brein krijgt de hele dag door veel informatie te verwerken. Die komt onder andere via onze zintuigen binnen. In deze sessie leer je hoe informatieverwerking gaat in het brein van mensen met autisme. Zo begrijp je ook beter waar het soms mis kan gaan.
3. Sociaal contact: zo verloopt het soepeler
Een verjaardag, een borrel op het werk, een praatje maken met de buren of de kinderen ophalen van een speelafspraak: sociaal contact en communicatie zijn voor mensen met autisme vaak hard werken. Waarom? In deze sessie lees je waar dat mee te maken kan hebben.
4. Emoties: hoe zit het écht met empathie?
In deze sessie gaan we het hebben over emoties: hoe zit het precies met empathie en autisme? Wat is het verband tussen emoties en lichamelijke klachten? En wat kun je doen om je meer verbonden te voelen met je partner of kind?
5. Voorspelbaarheid: een rode draad voor elke dag
Vragen als: hoe kom je tegemoet aan de behoefte aan routines en rituelen van je partner of kind, wat doe je als bepaalde taken of klusjes vergeten worden of niet worden afgemaakt? En: maakt autisme iemand een betere of slechtere ouder? Onder andere op deze vragen krijg je antwoord in deze sessie over voorspelbaarheid.
6. Prikkelgevoeligheid: van hypo tot hyper
In deze sessie leer je meer over prikkelgevoeligheid, een belangrijk onderwerp omdat het onder andere invloed heeft op de intimiteit met je partner of de hechting van je kind.
7. Kwaliteiten: zo focus je op de goede kanten
Lang niet iedere persoon met autisme heeft een speciaal talent. Maar iedereen heeft natuurlijk wel zijn of haar eigen kwaliteiten. En we weten dat je kwaliteiten erkennen en benutten je gelukkiger maakt. Hoe je de bijzondere kwaliteiten van mensen met autisme benut binnen je relatie en/of je gezin leer je in sessie 7.
8. Zelfzorg: je eigen energiebalans op peil
Met een autistische partner of een autistisch kind kunnen het huishouden draaiende houden en sociale contacten onderhouden al veel van je vragen. Misschien heb je vaak het gevoel dat jij ‘de kar moet trekken’ of vraagt je kind zo veel aandacht en geduld van je dat je niet aan uitrusten en bijtanken toekomt. In de laatste sessie ga je je verdiepen in je eigen energiebalans.
Maak het leven met autisme aangenamer, voor jezelf én de ander
- Je partner/kind (of allebei) met autisme beter begrijpen
- Welke invloed de belangrijkste kenmerken van autisme hebben op de relatie tussen jou en je partner of je kind
- Hoe je omgaat met prikkelgevoeligheid en emoties van je naaste
- Maar ook: hoe je juist rekening houdt met je eigen behoeften en energiebalans
- Met concrete adviezen die je kunt toepassen in je dagelijks leven
Voor wie is deze training geschikt?
1 tot 2,5 procent van de Nederlanders, ongeveer 200.000 mensen, heeft autisme. Het aantal mensen dat te maken heeft met autisme binnen het gezin – als partner of ouder – is natuurlijk vele malen groter. Primair voor hen maakten we deze training. Maar ook als je als broer of zus, grootouder, vriend(in), collega, leerkracht of als zorgverlener te maken hebt met autisme, kun je uit deze training veel inzichten en adviezen halen.
Iedereen is waardevol
De neurodiversiteitsbeweging draagt de gedachte uit dat er geen ‘standaard brein’ bestaat, omdat alle mensen onderling verschillen – en dat het belangrijk is dat deze verschillen worden omarmd. Iedereen levert immers een unieke, waardevolle bijdrage aan de samenleving. Dat is ook het uitgangspunt van deze training, daarom hebben we verschillende mensen met autisme gevraagd om mee te lezen tijdens de ontwikkeling ervan.

Coolest wireless charger design I've seen

Wow that light color ring is annoying
There is no way to turn this color light off. I don't even know why it has to have a light at all. I suppose it is to tell you it has power. But the light could have been something that momentarily turns on and then off as you place the phone on.
I'm a DIY'er and I'm going to find a way to take this apart and disable the light. I'll report back if I'm successful.
The good news is that this mount is identical to another one I have except for the magnet charging section. I'm talking it is identical down to the knobs and metal arm so it's generic in that sense. They only changed out the magnetic section. This type of mount holds well to the screen. The charging speed seemed adequate. Not terribly fast but not slow. Wirelessly charging is always slower than plugged in.
The supplied USB cable is braided and feels like quality.
See attached picture. This mount is not something you'll necessarily want to use every time you drive. Therefore the color ring is annoying.

i picked this up for my Model 3 to see if the 25W Qi2.2 charging actually lives up to the hype during my daily work week.
✨ The CNC aluminum build is top notch and feels much more robust than the flimsy plastic mounts i have tested. It's a piece of cake to clamp onto the corner of the Tesla screen and the metal arm matches the interior aesthetics perfectly. The magnetic hold is strong enough to keep my phone secure even when i am taking sharp turns thru my weekend adventures.
✨ Performance is where this thing shines because it actually delivers the 25W speeds without overheating. The built in cooling fan is a smart design choice that keeps the temperature down during long drives. i can hear the fan if the music is off but it's barely noticeable and definitely worth it for the consistent charging speed.
✨ The RGB lighting adds a subtle glow that makes it easy to find the mount in the dark without being distracting. Having the extendable arm is a big benefit for finding the perfect line of sight without blocking the main touchscreen. It's clearly a well thought out solution for any Tesla owner who wants a professional grade charging setup.

This is a exceptional piece of hardware that delivers real world results for high speed charging. The combination of active cooling and a sturdy metal build makes it a first class addition to my car.
