Twee jaar geleden wist Job Roggeveen maar één ding zeker: alles moest anders. Omdat antwoorden niet altijd thuis lijken te liggen, reisde hij af naar een oud klooster in Noord-Frankrijk. Hier vond hij een oude piano en de nieuwe richting voor zijn muziek. Het is anders dan vroeger. Niet meer zoals zijn project Happy Camper. Zonder gastzangers en een grote productie. Het moest alleen, op de piano. En in Frankrijk. De stukken die hij daar begon te schrijven waren licht en verdrietig tegelijk. Hij zocht naar melodieën die zich in je geheugen vastzetten, maar altijd met een melancholieke ondertoon. Hij besteedde veel tijd aan de klank van die piano, die nooit te hard en te fel mocht klinken. Thuisgekomen riep hij soms de hulp in van violist Ben Mathot, die met zijn spel de melancholie kon uitvergroten. Maar het meeste werk op Gliese is: de piano en Job Roggeveen.

Easy to use! No more hand cranking.

Worked for only 4 months. Now produces metal shards. Dangerous
Pros: Can be used with one hand. I bought this to have after surgery that left me without use of one arm for a few months. The light blinks when you need to charge it. Only needs a 2-3 min charge for enough juice to open a can. Cons: IT QUIT CUTTING CORRECTLY AFTER 4 MONTHS. I now have to use both hands to hold it in place to get it to latch on to the can. It also requires a few rotations around the top to cut through the seal, resulting in METAL SHARDS! The metal shards are super sharp and almost invisible. I stabbed myself with one enough to draw blood. This is dangerous as the metal could fall into the food when pouring from the can.
