Dankzij de vrijloopfunctie van de TS 99 kunt u brand- en rookwerende binnendeuren openen en sluiten zonder enige merkbare vorm van weerstand. Door de vrijloopfunctie blijft de deur vrij beweeglijk, alsof er geen deurdranger op de deur gemonteerd is. Alleen in geval van brand of stroomuitval zal de deurdranger de deur automatisch sluiten. Bij het openen van de deur wordt de vrijloopfunctie reeds vanaf een deuropeningshoek van > 0° geactiveerd. De TS 99 is geschikt voor deurbreedtes tot 1.100 mm en is hierdoor ideaal voor gebruik in ziekenhuizen, verzorgingstehuizen, VVE's, centra voor mindervaliden, … m.a.w. plaatsen waar barrièrevrijheid een grote rol speelt.
