Ingrediënten

Bai Hao Yin Zhen.
Is de beste variëteit onder de witte thee en bestaat enkel en alleen uit de allerjongste ongeopende knopjes van de theestruik 'Da Bai'. Geproduceerd in de prachtige tropische bergachtige provincie Fujian in China. De theeblaadjes staan vol met zilverwitte donshaartjes, vandaar ook de naam Yin Zhen (Silver Needle). Alleen de theetoppen van de eerste pluk worden gebruikt en kunnen daarom alleen in de prille lente geplukt worden. Ze worden zorgvuldig één voor één met de hand geplukt en vervolgens te drogen gelegd in de zon. Witte thee ondergaat enkel een lichte oxidatie daarom heeft het een zachte, delicate en pure smaak. Van bio leverancier. 
Bereidingstip: wanneer de topjes naar de bodem zinken zijn ze klaar.

Deze kwalitatieve thee kan je meerdere keren overgieten, o.a. om alle gezonde stoffen binnen te krijgen!
Gebruik voor deze kwaliteitsthee water met weinig droge stof en goede pH zoals Mont Roucous, Spa Reine of Montille.

Om nog wat uit te breiden over de uitzonderlijke donzige theetopjes: 
Theeknoppen, tips of naalden, zijn het jongste deel van de theeplant en barsten van al het goede. Aan de andere kant zijn ze ook piepklein en kost het veel tijd om ze te plukken: er zijn duizenden knoppen nodig om 1kg Silver Needle te maken.


De pluk van alleen knopjes is de reden waarom Silver Needle zo duur is, en ook minder gangbaar dan andere witte theesoorten. In de meeste gevallen is het niet de moeite waard om alleen deze kleine knoppen te plukken.

Vergeet niet dat de knoppen het kleinste en kostbaarste deel van de theeplant zijn (omdat ze later zullen uitgroeien tot grotere bladeren). De theestruiken doen alle moeite om hun lentetopjes te produceren en ze te beschermen tegen kou, stress en ongedierte. Als gevolg daarvan bevatten deze knopjes de hoogste concentraties van de goede dingen in thee: cafeïne, theanine en polyfenolen (zeker de EGCG).

Do Not Buy This Product. this review is coming at 1 April 2026. This can opener was purchased in October 2025. My initial review was that it worked well and did the job. It was meant to do however, after a few uses, I noticed that the can opener continue to move around and around the can even after the can lid had been cut open. in January 2026 it began to make more and more rotations around the can and the lid was not cut loose. After a few more uses. It just rotated and did nothing else. I sent an email to the company. I contacted Amazon about it. I’ve done everything that I can possibly see to do but I get no positive results. Consequently, I have a six month old can opener. It does not work. worked well for the first 10 or 20 uses; then the cutting edge just wore out (3-4mos.), so now my money was wasted. No explanation no offer, too bad.
