Onze zelliges worden gemaakt in Fez. Deze Marokkaanse stad is het episch centrum van de zellige productie. Het atelier maakt al 7 eeuwen zelliges. Authentieke zelliges herken je aan de gekapte zijkanten, een lichtglanzende glazuurlaag soms met kleine imperfecties en een genuanceerd kleurenpallet, niet een tegel is precies hetzelfde. Als de zelliges goed gemixed geplaatst worden krijg je een kleurbeeld dat met keramische tegels nooit bereikt kan worden.
Handgemaakt karakter: Zelliges worden met de hand gemaakt in Marokko van natuurlijke klei, gedroogd in de zon en gebakken in olijfpitovens. Dit proces zorgt ervoor dat geen enkele tegel gelijk is.
Charme van imperfectie: De oneffen randen en stukjes uit de tegels zorgen voor een levendig en speels effect, met name door de speling van het licht op het glazuur.
Snijden/Breken: Doordat ze handgemaakt zijn, zijn zelliges bros en kunnen ze tijdens het snijden of transport kleine beschadigingen oplopen. Dit hoort bij het product.
Plaatsing: Ze worden vaak zonder of met een heel minimale voeg geplaatst, juist om die onregelmatige randen te benadrukken.Tip: Bij het betegelen wordt aangeraden om de tegels uit verschillende dozen te mixen, zodat de kleurverschillen en oneffenheden mooi over de muur worden verdeeld

Soft and convenient, but slightly thin
I bought these disposable napkins for family dinners and small gatherings, and overall they’ve been very useful. They’re soft enough to feel comfortable while still absorbing spills and messes fairly well. I also like that the size is practical for everyday meals and snacks, and the stack fits neatly on the table without taking up much space. The napkins separate easily too, which is convenient when guests are around. However, they are a little thinner than I expected, so sometimes I end up using two for bigger spills.
