De Rhecess Hi is de signature high-top van Rhude en vertaalt het Los Angeles-luxe-streetwearidee naar een schoen. Het bovenwerk is gemaakt van 100% leer dat in kleurvlakken is opgebouwd, met in deze uitvoering een combinatie van wit en zachtgroene sage-accenten. Kenmerkend zijn de distressed, vintage-gewassen details die de sneaker een gedragen, geleefde uitstraling geven in plaats van een klinische nieuwheid. Aan de neus zitten geperforeerde gaatjes die teruggrijpen op klassieke basketbalsilhouetten, en aan de hiel staat een suède logo-applicatie. De rubberen mid- en buitenzool geeft demping en grip en tilt het silhouet net iets op. Het hoge model omsluit de enkel voor steun en houding. Het is die combinatie van vol leer en de bewust verweerde afwerking die deze Rhude-sneaker onderscheidt van een gladde, anonieme high-top.

De Rhecess Hi valt over het algemeen op maat. De meeste dragers houden hun normale schoenmaat aan, en wie tussen twee maten zit of dikkere sokken draagt, kan het beste een halve maat groter nemen. Het hoge enkelmodel sluit rond de enkel zonder te knellen en het leer rekt met dragen licht mee naar de voetvorm. Over de wreef zit de schoen comfortabel dankzij de veters die de pasvorm regelen. Reken op een stevige, ietwat zware constructie die om de voet heen valt zoals een echte high-top hoort te zitten.

Draag de Rhecess Hi met een rechte of licht baggy jeans die net over de schacht valt, zodat de distressed details zichtbaar blijven. Het is de sneaker die een eenvoudige outfit meteen een rauwe, high-fashion ondertoon geeft.

Rhude werd in 2015 opgericht door Rhuigi Villaseñor in Los Angeles en groeide uit tot een toonaangevende naam in luxe streetwear met een sterke autocultuur- en Americana-invloed. De Rhecess Hi is daarvan het bekendste schoenmodel.

This was a slow moving book. Lots of character pov chapters, lots of superfluous descriptions and endless courtly appearances stalled this book to start. Once you get into the heart of the story, it takes off. Before you know it the book is done. My favorite character is Reyna. She is so strong. She is true to herself. She gets into a lot of trouble with her headstrong ways but it's entertaining. I have high hopes for Lorcan. He is honorable to a fault. Thane had turned out to be better than I thought but i still don't like him. Eislin is useless. Great plot twists at the end. I'm looking forward too book 2.

I could not stop reading. It was so refreshing to have a series start so completely different than most fated mates/fantasy academy rh I’ve been reading. From the desert scenery to the magic and feeding plus the psychological trauma the characters are there to deal with. Pandora is absolutely adorable and I totally relate to hiding behind my hair. The concept of magic and the unique feeding habits of the demon characters were intriguing. I can't wait for the next book to continue this thrilling journey. In summary, this book is a must-read for fantasy and magic academy rh fans. With its enchanting characters, nods to the Fate Hallow series, and imaginative concepts, it offers an immersive reading experience that hwill leave you craving for more.
