De wijn is prachtig granaatrood van kleur. In de neus complexe aroma’s van rijpe kersen, pruimen, zwarte bessen met hints van tabak en toast. In de mond een volle wijn, met mooie tannines, maar zacht en vol fruit met tonen van vanille en chocolade in de aanhoudende afdronk.
Uitstekend met rijke voorgerechten, rood vlees en gekruide kaas.
