The candles are handcrafted from dyed, plant-based wax. The packaging, printed and finished in Hamburg on FSC-certified design paper using climate-neutral processes, is bilingual: one side in German, the other in English.
Production:
The candles are crafted with dedication and skill in a certified Fair Trade production facility in Indonesia. This socially, environmentally, and gender-equitable production process ensures a stable income and secure social benefits, especially for local women, leading to greater planning security and, consequently, greater independence.
Special Features:
The wax used consists of 100% plant-based, certified organic raw materials and is coloured with ecological pigments. The wick is made of pure cotton in Germany.
Good to know: The candles are particularly dimensionally stable. They do not bend in sunlight and can be displayed in shop windows without hesitation. The colors are lightfast and hardly fade even under direct UV sunlight.
Each candle is unique. Different colors of candle wax are blended by hand. This is the only way to produce candles with such precision. If the candle appears loose at one of the colour layers, this is due to its exceptional manufacturing process. It does not affect the candle's burning performance. For optimal colour brilliance, we recommend gently rubbing the surface of the candle with a soft cloth.
