The Gretsch G5655T-QM Electromatic Center Block Jr. offers a smaller single cutaway body style with Quilted Maple construction to the popular Electromatic series of guitars. The G5655T-QM features a slightly smaller than average Gretsch body, shorter scale, and a lower set maple neck for ultimate comfort and playability.

This Electromatic model features full Laminated Quilted Maple construction throughout the top, back, and sides of the body. It is designed for high-volume, with the implementation of a Spruce center block designed to negate feedback - especially helpful when using distortion. The title "Jr." is in reference to its smaller than average 14" body, with most popular Gretsch models bearing a 16" - and sometimes 17" - body measurement at the lower bout.

The G5655T-QM's thin-U shaped maple neck is set lower than average as well, allowing for easier access to the higher registers of the guitar. It also features a Laurel fingerboard, 22 medium jumbo frets, and Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays. Die-Cast tuners and an anchored Adjusto-matic bridge keep the G5655T-QM tuning stable, and a Bigsby-Licensed B70 bridge offers the classic dive and warble as classic as the Gretsch sound itself.

For pickups, the Gretsch G5655T-QM employs a pair of Black Top Broad'Tron pickups, delivering bold and articulate tone with increased output. Pickups are controlled by a master volume at the heel, individual pickup volumes, a master tone control, and a 3-way pickup selector.
