The Dy'on New English Hackamore Bridle has been specifically designed for use with a hackamore, and has an anatomic headpiece for comfort.

This S-shaped headpiece has an accentuated curve, and the browband sits lower down on the headpiece than the previous design. This means the bridle sits further away from the base of your horse's ears - one of the most sensitive spots on the head - meaning there is less pressure in this area and makes it more suitable for the modern sports horse.

The bridle features hackamore cheekpieces, which have an extra adjustment strap on the jawbone. This helps to keep the cheekpieces more secure and keeps them away from the horse's eyes.

It has a slightly square raised browband with a stainless steel Dy'on initial logo on the left hand side for an elegant finishing touch.

The Dy'on New English Collection is made from Grade 1 Catalan leather tanned in Igualana, Spain using a vegetable tanning method exclusively developed by Dy'on for the highest levels of quality using natural dyes for an English leather type finish.

The range has a discreet look with tone-on-tone stitching and stainless steel buckles.

Please note that this bridle does not include the Hackamore itself, only the headpiece, browband and cheekpieces.

Holes in brackets are not spaced for studs!

So the quality of this not great, but good enough and they look nice enough on the wall. However, the bracket holes are not spaced at 16" intervals. WTF? I'm not sure who designed this thing. The molly plugs that came with it look OK, but to play it safe I used a cobalt steel drill bit and made my own holes in the bracket. Easy enough with some wd40. My other pick with this is that the screws to anchor the shelf to the bracket are black and and very obvious... they should have supplied some kind of cap.

Good looking shelves and easy install - skip the included drywall anchors

I installed these shelves in a bedroom to get things off my dresser and some decor. Once mounted they look really nice. The black finish looks clean and modern and they blend in well with the room. Installation was pretty straightforward. The metal bracket mounts to the wall first and then the shelf slides over the bracket. As long as you take your time lining things up it’s a simple project. One thing I strongly recommend is not using the white plastic self-drilling drywall anchors that come with the kit. I’ve used that style before on other projects and they tend to strip out easily and leave larger holes in drywall. I used better anchors instead and the shelves mounted much more securely. The rest of the hardware worked fine and once installed the shelves feel solid and hold items well. Pros - Clean modern look - Easy installation - Feels solid once mounted - Good size for books or decor Cons - The small level included isn’t very accurate — use your own level - One of the metal brackets was slightly bent out of the box but straightened out easily Helpful tip: Use your own level and better drywall anchors if you have them. It makes installation easier and the shelves will mount much more securely. Final thoughts: For the price these are nice looking floating shelves that install easily and work well for light storage and decor.
