🔥 Vintage Country Squire Thinline Electric Guitar 🔥

🎸 Sunburst | Wilkinson Hardware | Rare Early Model | Brand New 🎸

A genuinely fascinating and incredibly rare guitar from the Trevor Wilkinson/JHS family tree.

This Vintage Country Squire appears to be an early precursor to the later Fret-King Country Squire Semitone models, carrying many of the same design ideas, construction features and Wilkinson hardware concepts that would later define the Fret-King range. Despite extensive searching, we have been unable to locate another example currently available online in this exact Vintage-branded specification.

Interestingly, the guitar does not carry a visible serial number, further suggesting this may have been an early production piece, dealer sample, trade/show model or a very limited transitional run produced during the evolution of the later Fret-King Country Squire designs.

Finished in a stunning Original Classic Burst, this semi acoustic design blends classic Tele-inspired styling with boutique modern engineering. The chambered alder body gives the guitar an airy resonance and lightweight feel, while the extended neck joint provides excellent sustain and stability.

The combination of a neck Wilkinson nickel-covered humbucker and open-coil bridge humbucker gives this guitar an exceptionally wide tonal range. The Vari-coil control system progressively rolls the neck humbucker down towards true single coil territory, offering everything from warm jazz tones to cutting bridge bite and articulate indie rock sounds.

This is not simply a Tele-style guitar. It feels far more refined and versatile, with a unique character all of its own.

Specification includes:

• Semi acoustic chambered centre-jointed 2-piece American alder body

• Alder top with tortoiseshell binding

• Canadian hard rock maple neck

• Rosewood fingerboard with 10” radius

• 22 medium jumbo frets

• Wilkinson WTB vintage-spec stamped steel bridge

• Brass barrel saddles

• Wilkinson WHHB3+3 neck humbucker

• Wilkinson WHHB bridge humbucker

• Volume and dual concentric tone / Vari-coil control

• 3-way selector switch

• Wilkinson E-Z Lok tuners

• Graphite nut

• Chrome hardware

• 25.5” scale length

The guitar is brand new old stock and presents beautifully throughout.

A seriously cool and unusual instrument that sits somewhere between a boutique Thinline Tele, an early Fret-King prototype concept and a modern alternative rock machine. These obscure transitional Trevor Wilkinson/JHS designs rarely surface, especially in unused condition.

An exceptional piece for players, collectors or anyone wanting something genuinely different from the usual production guitars.

Carry on with the great writing Rachel Lacey while I look for my next bodyguard book
Format: Kindle
I'm on a bodyguard reading kick right now, only wlw of course. I read this one for the first time about a year ago and somehow, I didn't leave a review. ( I'm good at hopping from one book to another and forgetting to write one. oopsy) I loved the bodyguard part but as stories go I always hate someone's parent dying. ( too much like real life) I know it's necessary to show why Natalie is so effed up. Rachel wrote a great ending to this story and that is always a plus in my eyes.

I really enjoyed the storyline and the emotional growth of the characters in this book. I’d been putting it off for a while but I’m glad I finally picked it up and took a chance on it because it was such a cute story.

Romance, Steam, and Angst!
Format: Kindle
When successful movie star Natalie Keane hires Taylor Vaughn to be her bodyguard and fake girlfriend, it doesn't take long for their pretend attraction to spark very real feelings, but with both women deeply scarred by the past, is a Hollywood-style happy ending possible? Strictly speaking, Cover Story is a celebrity romance. Natalie Keane is a successful film actress whose career is at a high point thanks to a recent Golden Globe nomination. She has an entourage and even lives in a large house that boasts its own observatory with a telescope. But that being said, this is not the glitzy, glamourous, escapist story some readers might associate with the celebrity romance trope. While she may be a powerful star to the outside world, internally, Natalie is quiet, introspective, and perpetually haunted by a traumatic incident from her past. Her carefully insulated world is an extension of the emotional barriers she's built around her heart. Enter Taylor Vaughn, the sexy, competent bodyguard Natalie hires to pose as her girlfriend while providing extra security. On the surface, she's the perfect heroine to rescue the reclusive Natalie, all while their attraction sizzles to the point of combusting. But Taylor has vulnerabilities and self-doubts too, and the closer she gets to Natalie, the more she risks pushing past her own physical and emotional limitations. Cover Story has plenty of Hollywood excitement, including red carpet interviews and movie stunts. And there is no shortage of romance or heat between Natalie and Taylor, but what really gives the story impact is the poignant and authentic journeys of heart and mind that the characters take separately and together. The journeys are not straightforward, but ultimately, they highlight the power of healing, taking risks, and finding a person to feel safe with. If you enjoy sapphic stories with romance, steam, but also a healthy dose of angst and authenticity, you'll be captivated by Cover Story.

Chemistry/connection & spice were great, but there was so much potential for a better story!
Format: Paperback
The potential of this story was high and the chemistry and connection between the characters was well done, but the "climax" was anti-climatic unfortunately. The author could have done so much more with a story about a stalker and fame. The spicy scenes were very well written/very hot, but I wish we had a more exciting ending with higher stakes and a bigger reward for the high stakes. I had to dock 1 star for that.
