D. high travel springs are manufactured from specially designed high tensile, chrome silicon alloy spring wire, which allows them to have fewer coils and a smaller wire diameter. As a result, these springs are lighter and have increased travel due to the larger distance between the coils.

Available in 7", 9", 10", 12", 14" and 16" lengths, QA1 offers an assortment of high travel springs with a silver powder coated finish. Made in the USA, these 2" I.D. high travel springs are manufactured from specially designed high-tensile, chrome silicon alloy spring wire, which allows them to have fewer coils and a smaller wire diameter. As a result, these springs are lighter and have increased travel due to the larger distance between the coils. These lighter springs reduce unsprung weight and react faster, optimizing suspension performance. In addition, this high-grade material, along with careful heat-treating and post-processing, allows for greatly improved fatigue life, and the coil design allows the springs to be compressed to coil-bind without affecting spring rate or free height. These new high travel springs are silver powder coated and ground at both ends for straight, consistent and accurate operations. In addition, all QA1 springs are lifetime guaranteed to remain within 2% of the original free height and rate under normal operating conditions. Chrome Silicon Steel, All QA1 springs are manufactured using the highest quality materials for high strength, consistency and long life. Cold Wound - Heat Treated - Shot Peened, All QA1 springs go through intensive manufacturing processes to ensure consistency, accuracy and durability. Squared Ends, All QA1 springs are ground at both ends to ensure straight, consistent and accurate operation. Lengths and Rates Marked, All QA1 springs are clearly marked with the free length of the spring and spring rate for quick and easy identification. This watch was received exactly as advertised. First off the watch is economical compared to other watches that advertise the same details. I will say that I have gone through numerous Luminox watches only to be disappointed. This watch fits the bill. It does have solar cells which mean it needs to be exposed to light to keep running, not a problem. Three minutes under my surefire light I am golden. The bezel doesn't rotate actually no big deal for me. I have always required that the bezel moves not anymore after having a bezel that rotates I use it next to never. Here's why, the more I rotate the bezel the more the numbers wear off. The strap on the watch with the catches for the strap are perfect. They actually hold the watch strap in place in lieu of like other big name brands that just flop and slide. As far as everyday use goes this watch is my go to. To be honest I have purchased three. This is the only watch I will wear moving forward, yeah the glass my scratch but even the big names like the Luminox I spoke of earlier scratches too.
