Native to Florida, these chubby and slow moving springtails are a delight! They are slightly larger than "Yuukianura Aphoruroides" the other orange springtail most common in the hobby.
Springtails are essential members of any bioactive clean up crew. No enclosure should be without them! Springtails keep mold at bay and work in harmony with isopods, eating decaying plants, excess food sources and waste products. Neanura growae are easy to care, they do best at temps between 70-85 degrees and spend most of their time inside the substrate but you can see them swarming food during feeding time.
