The PRS SE McCarty 594 in Black Gold Sunburst is a solidbody electric guitar designed for versatility, offering a vintage-inspired instrument capable of producing both humbucking and single-coil tones. With its reliable and roadworthy construction, this guitar makes it easy to explore various sonic landscapes. Meanwhile the stunning Black Gold Sunburst laid carefully over the figured maple veneer makes for a stunning visual to compliment the classic PRS sound.
The bound mahogany neck on this guitar features a Pattern Vintage shape for comfort and playability. It has 22 frets, a 24.594" scale length, a neck depth of 7/8" at the nut, a fretboard width of 1 11/16" at the nut, and 2 1/4" at the body. The rosewood fretboard comes with a 10" radius, adorned with the iconic PRS bird inlays. The headstock showcases the signature "SE" logo, and the PRS double-acting truss rod ensures stability.
The solidbody construction of the PRS SE McCarty 594 features a mahogany back and a maple top with a flame veneer, carved in a shallow violin pattern. The set neck/body assembly type guarantees seamless integration and enhanced sustain, while the classic PRS body shape adds a touch of modern elegance to this vintage-inspired design.
Equipped with 58/15 LT "S" treble and bass pickups, the PRS SE McCarty 594 delivers warm, vintage-inspired tones with sweetness and clarity. The guitar offers two volume and two push/pull tone controls, along with a 3-way toggle pickup switch on the upper bout, allowing for a wide range of tonal options.
