The alder body delivers a balanced tonal response, providing rich midrange warmth with crisp articulation. The maple neck, finished in gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, features a comfortable 1965 “C” profile, staying true to the original mid-'60s design. A round-laminated rosewood fingerboard with a 7.25-inch radius and 21 vintage-tall frets ensures an authentic playing experience. Larger pearloid dot inlays, an 11-hole three-ply pickguard, and the classic transition logo complete the vintage aesthetic. Pure Vintage single-line "Fender Deluxe" tuners provide period-correct tuning stability, while the bone nut enhances sustain and resonance.
The electronics feature a trio of Pure Vintage ‘65 gray-bottom single-coil Stratocaster pickups, meticulously voiced to reproduce the chime, warmth, and dynamic response that defined the Stratocaster sound in the mid-'60s. A five-way pickup selector switch allows for a wide range of tonal options, while independent tone controls for the neck and middle pickups provide additional versatility.
