The original illustration was made using gouache paint on paper. Gouache paint is a lot like watercolor paint, but you can achieve more opacity with gouache. I then scan the painting, and have it printed on a high quality, archival paper.
This print is printed on a matte paper using high quality, archival, inks. This print is fade proof and it will last a lifetime without yellowing.
It ships in a protective plastic sleeve, with a sturdy backing board.
