The two unpotted Custombucker Alnico III pickups are designed to perfectly replicate the legendary pickups of the original 1957 Les Paul Goldtop. Linked up with CTS Audio Taper pots and paper-in-oil caps, the result is a rich, warm sound that's instantly recognizable as classic vintage Gibson.

The mahogany body sits beneath a two-piece plain maple top, that's finished in a gorgeous thin nitrocellulose Double Gold color.
