Conversation Sur Lettres Mortes is a conceptual album revolving around the relationship between Berlin's Jesse Osborne-Lanthier & Grischa Lichtenberger and the archaic apparatus of old cathode ray televisions and VHS units. It was first conceived as a live project for the Mutek/Elektra festival 2014 at the MAC in Montréal, QC Canada and now lands heavy on Cosmo Rhythmatic - the label curated by Shapednoise. Based on a series of conversations (excerpted in the liner notes) discussing the sets' obsolete status and the schism between tradition and trade, the A-side holds six cranky, skudgy and rhythm-driven creations framed by that familiar, ghostly, whining timbre of the cathode ray tube that would persist behind anything that was playing, or which would become distorted when you had to "tune" your set using baffling arrays of fiddly knobs like some modular boffin, when all you wanted was to watch some garbage without "snow" or streaking lines across the monitor. However, a few samples of dialogue aside, it's not a mere exercise in nostalgia; rather Osborne-Lanthier and Lichtenberger find strange, synesthetic life in these old and somewhat magical analog machines, working their spectral resonance and crankiness into creaking, contorted and deconstructed patterns that evoke a more contemporary sense of temporal dislocation. The remixers all seem to relish messing with the material, too. Low Jack offering a screen-scrambling flux of hellish sound-imagery ruffed-up with footwork rhythms and harpy and a Cronenberg-ian sort of body horror. Gabor Lázár's patented streaking filaments recall the sound of a set rapidly flicked on and off, marking one of his strongest, layered solo pieces. Rabit really pushes the envelope with a hyper, tumultuous stunner seemingly emulating an Einstürzende Neubauten live show. Mastered and cut by Matt Colton at Alchemy. Edition of 500.

zelda‘s “indoor” ⚽️ ball!

zelda loves her soccer ball - because of the fabric “tabs”, and the way she treats her toys, we keep it inside. she loves to place all of her toys and bones on our bed, after they’ve been cleaned. this ball is perfect and soft enough to throw it down our steps, where she will run down, retrieve it, and bring it back to the bed.
it arrives deflated and comes with the pump and two needles - the pump is not the sturdiest and felt like it was not inflating, but after only having to reflate it once with a bit of air since receiving it ~5-6 months ago, it still holds up!

Small for a medium

I got medium.. and it does not look like a medium ball.. it’s rather small. It’s pretty sturdy and my dogs went crazy for it but it’s definitely not the size I thought it was going to be 😂 my dogs chewed one strap within 5 minutes of having it but they’re dogs and that’s what they do lol. I bought this to be an outside ball for them! It’s pretty light but that’s probably because it’s small. Not soft? But feels like a soccer ball. It also had no smell coming out of the box. Also comes with a pump and an extra thing to put in the ball to pump in case you lose one. I like these balls, I expect them to be chewed up because that’s what I bought them for! Fun for my dogs and they are! But the size… it is not medium and that’s the only reason for 3 stars 😂😂😂 Other then that I recommend, your dog will definitely love this! Inside or outside playing! Alone or with another dog!

Great toy for a GSD
Color: Blue Gray, Size: Extra Large Size 5 (9")
My GSD loves to grab the flaps and shake her head with the ball bouncing of the side of her head. This is her favorite toy. I thought she would puncture it but it has held up great since she likes to grab the flaps rather than biting the ball.

Perfect for my dog

Pup loves this!

My pup loves his soccer balls. These are very durable although if you have a dog that doesn't grasp the concept of using the loops/straps to carry it, teeth could puncture it. They are a good value for the money if your dog likes to chase the ball, I get the smaller size ball for my dog (medium dog). They come with a pump but if you have a bicycle pump or a battery operated pump, it will fill much faster. Ours stay outside and even in the winter, they hold up well, just need a bit more air occasionally to keep it pumped up.
