4th Annual Water Quality Boat Cruise

Come cruise with us on the Maumee River! Partners for Clean Streams, the Maumee Area of Concern Advisory Committee (MAAC), and Lucas Soil and Water Conservation District, supported by a grant from Ohio EPA & US EPA GLRI, will be hosting an educational water quality boat cruise aboard the Sandpiper on Sunday, August 5th from 2-4pm.  We will have experts on deck to discuss various issues affecting our waterways in the Toledo area and what is being done to address them.  This is a special opportunity to see the sights of downtown Toledo from the water and learn about regional water quality.

The Sandpiper Boat leaves from the Jefferson St. dock in Promenade Park in downtown Toledo (1 Jefferson St). Registration is required for this event and can be done online or by calling our office at (419) 874-0727. There is a $5/person registration fee that attendees can pay the day of (cash only) or beforehand through our secure PayPal system. Please arrive 15-20 minutes early. There may be a separate charge for street parking or in the nearby lots. This cruise is recommended for people ages 4 and up, and will happen rain or shine, unless there is severe weather. We will notify those registered in the unlikely event it will be cancelled due to weather.
